The founder's review - Mix & Match
Hello everyone! It's been a while since we've updated this blog and we've been thinking of what we should write about in our first post for 2017. And we thought it would be a good time to introduce the founders of T&L and to get them to do a product review of some of the products that they have personally used and to share their experiences with everyone.
As some of you might have already guessed, T&L is founded by a young Singaporean couple, Tan and Lo, who are looking at taking their first step into the digital entrepreneur world. T&L is online beauty store that offers a curated range of hair, body & skin care products from Korea, Japan, America and Europe, some of which are less commonly available in retail stores.
As the saying goes - "ladies first", we will first have Lo, to introduce some of her favourite products and in our next post, we will have Tan share about his so we get both the girl and the guy perspectives.
Lo's skincare regime-
"My skin is considered normal to dry and after trying various types of facial foam, I found myself liking the Foodaholic Olive Skin Relief Foam Cleansing as it leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed and at the same time there isn't the tight feeling that you get with some facial foam after washing. And this is because the facial foam contains olive extracts which are known to provide moisture to the skin. All in all, the skin just feels great after washing! Plus its really affordable and 1 tube can last for 5-6 months (assuming you wash 2 times a day).
After cleansing, I apply the Laneige Essential Power Skin Refiner Moisture and Laneige Essential Balancing Emulsion Moisture. I really like this combo of toner (the refiner is a toner) and emulsion as they are both light and gentle on the skin and at the same time they leave my skin feeling moisturized without the sticky or oily feeling. To me, the toner helps to act as another layer of cleanser and a preparation for the skin to absorb the moisture from the emulsion. I repeat these 3 steps twice a day, once in the morning and once at night."
We hope you have enjoyed reading this review thus far. Different products are suitable to different people so we encourage you to keep trying and testing different products till you find the one that suits you best. And who says we have to use the whole series of products from the same brand? Feel free to mix and match till you find the best combination! Stay tuned for our next post on Lo's haircare regime!
